After Hawaii, we flew straight to Florida. And by straight I mean from Honolulu to L.A. to Detroit (five hour lay-over) to Fort Meyers! The kids were perfect on all of the 5-hour segments, and then lost it on the last little two-hour flight. They would have been fine, but we forgot our DVD-player on the first plane and realized it when we were on the second plane. Not good. It was sure nice to be in Marco Island again. When we arrived, Rob and Rachel and Mom and Dad were there. Matt and Debbie, Maggie, Sophie, and Eli came the day after us. It was wonderful spending Christmas together in the warmth.
