We had a beautiful night for Trick-or-Treating. It was about sixty degrees; perfect for furry little outfits.
This picture explains if you were wondering why Matthew wanted to be a beaver. Matthew loves to pretend that he's a lion and he "roars" after his dad, the beaver. The daddy beaver, in turn, likes to gnaw on the lion's tummy when they play. But today they were both beavers.
Tonight was so much fun. Matthew was so excited to put on his beaver outfit and turn around to show everyone(a.k.a. shake) his tail. Natalie loved her kitty costume. As soon as she has it on, she starts smiling so huge that she has slits for eyes and shows her beaver-teeth. She's so cute.

Both kids certainly takes after their mother in their love for sweets. Here are the kids as soon as we came in the house after our big 5-house trick-or-treating adventure. She kept saying, "nyumm nyumm nyumm" pleading for more candy and here's her daddy giving in...
Update on Natalie's head: Two weeks ago she fell on Matthew's scooter and her head split open. I took her to the plastic surgeon and he glued it and said that she'd be fine. I took her home, put her down for a nap and when she woke up, the glue and covering was off. So much for that $30 co-pay! He had said that it would fall off naturally and when it did to just put Neosporin and a band-aid on it. So she went around for two weeks with a band-aid on her head, like the first picture shows. We went back to the plastic surgeon for another $30 co-pay visit and he said she'd be just fine. He said that it will leave a tiny scar, but that we should massage it 10 times a day for the next few weeks to help minimize scar-tissue. I just keep thinking that she can still be a model if she wants, Cindy Crawford did it with a mole on her face, so Natalie Nadelhoffer can do it with an itty-bitty, teensy-weensy scar on her forehead.

I love the beaver. That was a good choice! I think Matthew makes a cuter beaver....sorry Matt!
Of course she can be a model! Everyone needs a little identifying mark. Love the costumes, and the beaver face. What a softie Matt is, giving in to the candy. :) Looks like Matthew inherited Matt's bedhead!
