Here are some updated pictures from Christmas, all of our visitors and loved ones. Gus and Christine even brought Philly! It was great to see he and Noodles play together again.
Al built a closet for our spare bedroom downstairs. He came back two weeks ago to finish with his trusty helper, Grammie. Eventually Matt and I will move downstairs when everything is painted, most likely this spring. He did a beautiful job on the closet. It somehow makes the room look bigger. Here's the progress of the closet and all of the helpers that had a hand in the work. Matt hung the closet bar at the top, which is comical, because had we not fixed it, all of our clothes would have slipped to the left. Then he needed his mom's help to realize that he didn't need to stand IN the closet in order to paint in the closet. He's a huge helper once you spend the first few minutes explaining exactly what you want and how to do it, bless his heart.

Wow, the closet looks great. You're right, it does make the room seem bigger. Good thing you had a couple knowledgable people around to point Matt in the right direction. :)
I just noticed Matthew's Oscar the Grouch t-shirt. Awesome! How appropriate for a child of Matt's.
