Day by Day by Day

We try to get outside as much as possible. The kids love going outside - "Side" as Natalie calls it. We finally made it to Eastern's pool yesterday because the weather was wonderful. I took them two weeks ago before we had all of the rain, but the kiddie pool was ice cold and they just stood in there with their lips getting purple staring at me. I asked them if they were having fun. Their response was not so positive so we left.
Here's Matthew's favorite outfit lately. The Oscar the Grouch shirt and the Lightning McQueen socks - with flip-flops, nontheless.
I grabbed the camera a little late on this one because Matt was saying that he couldn't hold them up anymore. He did let them down gently, just so you know.
Grammie and PopPop came out for a much-needed visit. We appreciated how they took the kids every morning and fed them eggs and pancakes while we slept in a little. I can't handle cooking eggs when I'm pregnant so I was happy that they did that for me. Natalie would talk about "eggs and cakes" all day. As you can tell from my last post, she is slightly motivated by food. Grammie and PopPop bought birthday bikes for Matthew and Natalie's birthdays coming up in the next few months. The kids love their bikes! Natalie's is a Disney Princess bike with matching helmet and knee pads - too cute. Matthew's is a "Devious" bike - I'm sure that's a sign for things to come.

I've got more pictures, but little Bunny's up from nap and I need to get her before she flops out of her crib.

I'm back to put up the rest of the pictures. The big house project that we used PopPop's expertise on for this trip was our leaky deck. He came up with a great drainage system to combat the flat roof that the deck sits on. Grammie was a huge help with making sure it looked good! But it wasn't all work, there was always time to swing a kid or two.

Natalie could've stayed and played in Grammie and PopPop's minivan all day just pushing magic buttons and watching things light up or doors open and shut. When I asked her what she was doing, she'd say, "Drifing."
