Saving the Day!

Halloween was a Super-Hero event for us this year. Matthew was Captain America and he donned his home-made Shield of Faith for the day.

Natalie was Super-Girl and wore her Boots of Righteousness in order to "walk in His Way" for the day.
Libby wore a "my first Halloween" shirt and went as a Beautiful Baby.
It rained on us, for the 15 houses we went to, but that did not stop the Super-Heros from spreading their joy to the neighborhood. Every house they went to, Matthew and Natalie were polite and left each house smiling. When we came back to the house, Noodles was upset that we left her home this year. Like I said, it was raining and we didn't want to smell wet dog all night, so she got left behind. As soon as the kids were in bed and we were relaxing, she had something to say about it:
And in other exciting news: I got out of the house for dinner with the girls! It was a friend's birthday, so I got away (childless) to celebrate her big day for an hour. Thanks Matt! He even thought it was so momentous an occation, that he offered to take our picture (Fabulous boots, Rachel!).

Look at you all decked out and looking gorgeous! :) 3 kids? What?

Your children's adorableness, as always, leaves me at a loss for words. So sweet. I feel much safer knowing that Captain America and Super Girl are protecting the world and bringing justice and truth wherever they go. :)
