We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week. Cari and Paul came to visit, if you didn't notice that already. We also had friends come over Wednesday night for some Twister and Mad Gab. What a riot! A bunch of late 20-year-olds, and I'm in complete denial about my age here, playing silly games together. This is Matt after he used his asset to knock me down and out of the game. Cheater. And sometimes the positions that you get yourself in are not convenient for others playing the game, right Katie? :)
Kara, a good friend of mine came over to help me cook and to celebrate the feast. Here we are trying to gather the juices to make gravy. It was a heavy turkey! We had to put it on the floor.
Then Bah Humbug surprised me and suggested that we put up the Christmas Tree! Heart be still! This is the first time Matt has helped me put up a tree in 7 years. Then we got dressed and took family pictures in front of the tree. Heart RESTART! (For those of you that don't know, Matt is not a fan of pictures, to say the least) You'll have to wait for your Christmas card to see those, though. Thanks for the memories, Matt it meant a lot to me. Matthew helped put the glass ornaments on the tree and was very careful.

Looks like you guys had a fun Thanksgiving. Nice camera shots, by the way. And I love the way Matthew is concentrating so hard on putting the ornament on!
I didn't realize people still played twister in their 30's! I'm going out to buy one tomorrow. :-) Let's bring it to Marco. I guarantee Rob and I can beat you and Matt.
