Whew! Just in time! As soon as mom left, I came down with Mastitis and a sore throat, runny nose, and the sneezes. But no fear! Nancy's here! And you can tell from the picture that the kids were just as excited as she was - especially when they receive gifts like these great t-shirts from Uncle Bryan and funny books from Auntie Cari. Libby was thrilled just to be held.
Her flight was delayed 4 hours coming out of Chicago, but it was while the kids were sleeping anyway. For someone who doesn't sit still, waiting 4 hours to see your grandkids and hold the newest grand-baby is torture! When she finally got to our house it was 1:30am and she went upstairs to kiss the kids. Natalie, being the light sleeper she is, woke up and said, "Where's PopPop?" I think what she meant to say if she had not had sleepy-cloudy-head would have been, "Well Good Evening, Grammy. So nice to see you! I'm so delighted that you're here but you usually come with that silly, fun, handy-man, PopPop. Is he here, too?" PopPop flies in today - woo hoo!
