My blog is usually geared toward family, since we don't live near them, but this one's for some of the cheerleaders that "creep on ma' blog". So the first part is for them and the second paragraph is to keep my family amused.

I just have to give a shout out to my cheerleading team. *HOLLA* They cheered a great game last night. During warm-ups they stayed focused while kids were running in between each of their formations, they hit their stunts even though kids were saying, "Mom MAaaaaaaaaM!" and rearranged every single time-out we've rehearsed since the beginning of the year b/c of a student suddenly transferring, another out with mono, and yet another out with an injury - all of this happening last week! They have such positive attitudes that they faced these challenges head-on and encouraged each other throughout it all. I wish I could explain all of their unique personalities and quirky senses of humor, but to go out and get a fun picture in the snow is a little glimpse into that. I love this team.

The great thing about coaching cheerleading is that no matter how the basketball team does, the cheerleaders always win! I like to remind Matt about this after a tough basketball loss. I let him know that my cheerleaders did awesome, thanks for asking, and that seems to help put things into perspective for him - helps him get over the loss quicker.
