Natalie started Preschool today, rip our hearts out. Matt said that she grew up so much today and that it was hard to let her go. She was SO ready for school to start, though. Every day we dropped Matthew off at his school, she asked if today was her day, too. When I picked her up after the half-day, her teacher pulled me aside and said she did great, she had no fears of being there, she jumped right in and played with other kids, and even comforted a little boy when they were putting toys away and a truck fell on his head. Here's some pictures of the kids this morning:
When we picked Matthew up from school (after having to wake Natalie up from a deep nap!), Matthew with huge eyes, hands on his knees bending down to get his nose about 3 inches away from Natalie's nose, says, "Hey Natalie! How was your day? Did you like your school? Did you make new friends? Did you sit criss-cross applesauce?" It happened so fast, I couldn't get my camera out! It was precious, though, as she just answered with huge eyes, nodding her head "yes."
